چکیده
Assessing the suitability of urban and agricultural land is essential for planning sustainable systems. The main objective this study to evaluate in Ioannina plain (western Greece) concerning soil contents two potentially toxic elements, cadmium (Cd) cobalt (Co). Geochemical spatial analysis methods were applied assess distribution Cd Co identify their origin. primary anthropogenic sources topsoil area can be attributed traffic emissions, aircraft operations, vehicle crushing dismantling activities. Element content compared international guidelines screening values. Cadmium concentration well above European mean. Thus, lands cover vast majority (92%) total area. with a mean (mg kg?1) 1.7 2.0 was observed use, respectively. Cobalt studied 30.8 37.1 recorded Land evaluation by adopting criteria provided from literature discussed.

Land cover land use mapping and change detection analysis using geographic information system and remote sensing
Land cover/land use categories are relevant components in land management. Understanding how land cover/land use change over time is necessary to assess the consequences of humans and natural stressors on the earth’s environment and resources. The aim of the study was to map and monitor the spatial and temporal change in land cover/land use for the periods of 1977, 1991 and 2016 and to predict ...

The aim of this research is spatial Simulation and land subsidence susceptibility mapping using maximum entropy model in Jiroft and Anbarabad Townships. At first, land subsidence locations were recognized using extensive field surveys and subsequently the land subsidence distribution map was made in the geographic information system. Then, each of effective factors on land subsidence occurred i...
متن کاملAnalysis of Land-use suitability in the metropolitan County of Orumiyeh in line with spatial planning
Introduction Land-use planning has three subcategories: allocation, politics and economics. In general, allocation is the interaction between land proportion (supply) and the area required (demand), in current condition of the region. On the other hand, politics is the spatial planning. The economic aspect of land use is dedicated to the fact that in the system of supply and demand in order ...

Land evaluation procedure given by FAO for soil site suitability for various land utilization types for rainfed agriculture has been used to assess the land suitability for khasi mandarin orange and pineapple in East Khasi Hills District of Meghalaya. The database on soil and land use/land cover was generated from IRS-P6 remote sensing satellite data, soil survey and laboratory analysis of soil...
متن کاملSpatially-based model of land suitability analysis using Block Kriging
In recent years, methods of fuzzy reasoning have been successfully developed for land evaluation. The accuracy of such land evaluation depends on the quality of weighing land characteristics with respect to their effects on crop production. This paper presents a spatially-based model of land suitability analysis. The main purposes were to (1) establish land suitability indices for irrigated whe...
